A link below to last nights Prime Time which revisited Dublin, Cork, Galway and Tullamore ten years on from their 'Saturday Night Sunday Morning' programme to see the impact of alcohol misuse on our streets. Disappointing and disturbing to realise that nothing has really changed since 2002, if anything our relationship with alcohol has got even unhealthier.

Last nights BBC Panorama featured an excellent investigation by Alastair Campbell into Britain's unhealthy relationship with alcohol. The focus of the programme was on the increasing number of middle-class professionals for whom one glass of wine after work is never enough. Well worth a viewing as it very much mirrors what's going on here in Ireland.
(BBC iPlayer isn't available here so found it on youtube in 2 parts linked below)
